Media reveals details of Iran's latest negotiation plan
BlockBeats News, May 3rd, local time today (May 3rd) afternoon, according to Al Jazeera reports, the latest negotiation plan proposed by Iran includes three phases.
The first phase includes “converting a ceasefire into a comprehensive truce within 30 days,” “establishing principles for an international mechanism to ensure that hostilities do not resume,” “achieving a ceasefire across all regions with both sides promising not to violate it, including Iran’s regional allies and Israel,” “gradually lifting the blockade on Iranian ports by gradually opening the Strait of Hormuz,” “Iran responsible for clearing mines,” “revising previous Iranian proposals regarding compensation and other issues,” “the U.S. withdrawing from surrounding waters of Iran and stopping new troop deployments,” and other content.
The second phase involves “discussions on a comprehensive uranium enrichment freeze for up to 15 years,” “after the specified period, Iran restoring uranium enrichment activities based on a zero-stockpile principle,” and the plan opposes dismantling or destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities. For existing high-enriched uranium stockpiles, the proposal suggests transferring them abroad or diluting the uranium enrichment ratio. Additionally, the plan addresses gradually lifting economic sanctions on Iran.
In the third phase, Iran will hold strategic talks with regional countries to discuss how to build a comprehensive security system covering the entire region.
