Just found out something wild about Jeff Bezos. Back in 2013, this guy Ted Jorgensen, a 69-year-old bike shop owner in Arizona, discovered he was actually Bezos's biological father. Like, he had NO idea until a book author told him. Ted Jorgensen saw pictures of Bezos for the first time and apparently it hit him pretty hard emotionally. He was dealing with a lot of guilt, saying he wasn't a great father or husband. Ted Jorgensen apparently wanted to reach out to the Bezos family after that, but it's unclear if anything ever came from it. Pretty heavy stuff when you think about it - imagine finding out your kid became one of the richest people on the planet decades after not being in his life. Makes you wonder what that conversation would've been like.
