At the 2026 World Superbike Championship (WSBK) Hungary round, during the second race of the WorldSSP category, French rider Valentin Debise of Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Zhang Xue Motorcycles withdrew from the race. That evening, Zhang Xue posted a video on a social media platform in response: “It’s a pity—we withdrew in the first lap of the race. I just communicated with the team ahead; the reason is that we encountered a mechanical failure. Based on the initial checks, it’s because the engine oil pressure dropped. We’ll need to analyze further to know the deeper cause.” He said, “That’s just how racing is—the bike has been operating at its limits all the time. Every brand could run into a problem like this.” (CCTV News)
