Iranian media said a very large crude carrier carrying more than 1.9 million barrels of crude oil broke through surveillance by an “extraterritorial naval fleet.” The report said the vessel belongs to the National Iranian Tanker Company. The report also framed the voyage as evidence of Iran’s energy supply chain management and shipping strategy to evade US Navy surveillance.
