I set a rule for myself: from now on, when I see "governance voting," don't get carried away and click agree right away. First, think clearly about whether I am governing the project or just endorsing a few big investors. Delegated voting is quite convenient, to be honest, but the more convenient it is, the more it feels like packing up and handing over power. In the end, "community governance" becomes a meeting of a few people, and I, as a retail investor, just serve as a background. Recently, the modularization and DAO layer hype has developers extremely excited. I also want to jump in, but the feeling of users being completely confused is very real... Anyway, I will stick to discipline first, keep my position small, set stop-losses properly, and if I really want to participate, I will vote myself. If I don't want to, I won't pretend to have a sense of participation. If I lose money, I’ll just turn off Twitter and go for a run. Not saying much is also pretty good.
