This round of attention economy really treats people like spinning tops... When a hot topic changes, I want to chase it, but as I chase, I realize I'm not trading; I'm paying tuition with my emotions. My simple method: when I see a hot word, I pause for 10 minutes first, and ask myself "Do I really understand how it makes money or loses money?" If I don't understand, I pretend I didn't see it; if I really want to get in, I only allocate a small amount equivalent to a cup of latte, at most losing my mood, not doubling down with concentrated shots right away.

Later I think it's pretty funny—I've previously added to positions just because the group chat was flooding, only to get chopped up by hot topics rotating back and forth. Recently, the debates over privacy coins/mixing coins and their compliance boundaries have been just as heated; the more intense the argument, the easier it is to get caught up. Now I prefer to diversify my positions into pools where I can clearly explain the logic, even if it's a bit tougher, at least I can sleep well.
That's it for now—don't let "hotness" place your bets for you.
