The strike enters its third day; Samsung Biologics union agrees to return to the negotiation table.
An executive at Samsung Biologics, a biotechnology subsidiary of Samsung Group, said the union has agreed to return to the negotiating table on Monday. The two sides will restart negotiations on Monday with the mediation of the Labor Office in central South Korea. Previously, the first round of talks between the two sides, held on Thursday, fell apart, and the Samsung Biologics union began its first strike since its establishment on Friday; by Sunday, the strike had entered its third day.
