On May 3, local time, Mughaddam, the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, said in an interview that Iran has submitted a new round of negotiation proposals to Pakistan to end the US–Israel–Iran conflict. Pakistan, as the main mediator in the current process, has forwarded the new negotiation proposals to the US side. There are no indications that Iran plans to change the mediator. Mughaddam emphasized that while Iran is taking necessary measures to defend the country and the nation, it remains firmly committed to the diplomatic path. However, everything depends on the United States—if the US wants to seek breakthroughs in the negotiations, it must change its behavior. Mughaddam added that it is crucial for the Iranian people that the US stop its aggressive approach and respect Iran’s rights. (CCTV News)
