Germany’s Ministry of Defense released its first national military strategy on the 22nd, emphasizing the goal of building the Federal Defense Forces into Europe’s strongest conventional army.
The release on that day included part of the national military strategy.
The strategy states that the boundaries of war are becoming increasingly blurred, and that the nation, economy, and the public can all become targets of attack, with the entire German society facing threats.
Additionally, the nature of warfare is undergoing profound changes, with data becoming an important operational resource, weapon system production accelerating, and costs decreasing, highlighting the renewed importance of war economics.
The strategy indicates that by 2035, the Federal Defense Forces will reach a scale of 260k active soldiers and 200k reserve soldiers.
