Today, the total cross-regional population flow in society is expected to reach nearly 300 million trips.
According to the Ministry of Transport, it is expected that the total cross-regional personnel flow in society today (the 3rd) will reach 297 million trips, a decrease of 0.2% month-on-month and an increase of 2.5% year-on-year. Among them: railway passenger volume is 18.55 million trips, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%. Road personnel flow is 274 million trips, a year-on-year increase of 2.6%. Of which, commercial road passenger volume is 35.8 million trips, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%; non-commercial travel on expressways and ordinary national and provincial roads by small vehicles is 239 million trips, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%. Waterway passenger volume is 2.16 million trips, a year-on-year increase of 0.5%. Civil aviation passenger volume is 1.84 million trips, a decrease of 12.3% year-on-year. (CCTV News)
