Iranian senior officials reveal the latest details of US-Iran negotiations: No negotiations can take place without the permission of the Supreme Leader
Member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Mojtaba Zarei disclosed new details about the Islamabad talks on social media. Zarei stated that the basis of the Islamabad negotiations is obtaining permission from Iran’s Supreme Leader. In addition to securing negotiation approval, the content of the talks must also be conducted within the framework of the Supreme Leader’s permission: when the U.S. side wants to discuss nuclear technology issues, they are told that the Supreme Leader has prohibited the delegation from discussing technical details on this matter; from now on, decisions in this regard will be entirely made by the Supreme Leader. Furthermore, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran is prohibited from joining the negotiation team. (CCTV News)
