Lately, I keep seeing everyone mention "data availability/ordering/finality," sounding like an exam question, but it's really just one main thread: Did everyone see this transaction, who’s ordering it, and is it ultimately finalized? Data availability = not hiding it, so others can verify; ordering = whether you get jumped in line; finality = don’t say it’s settled today only to have it reversed tomorrow. In simple terms, when comparing on-chain yield products to RWA and US bond yields, many people only focus on the "returns," but I care more about "which chain this yield depends on and whether the finality is reliable." Otherwise, with volatility, returns become romantic, and losses are also romantic… Never mind, I won’t go too deep. Anyway, before I do a volatility strategy next time, I’ll check this first.
