ARB no longer needs to say, “I’m L2.”
The market already knew.
What it truly needs to defend is the main position. 🌉
What does “main position” mean?
It means developers are prioritized for deployment, users are prioritized for interaction, and the protocol prioritizes taking this place as the landing ground.
As long as these few actions continue to hold, it’s not just about scaling logic.
It’s a status-logic.
Once the status logic is established, the price will be steadier than that of ordinary project-based solutions. 🏙️
When I look at ARB, the focus isn’t whether the Layer 2 track will keep being hot.
The focus is whether, after the Layer 2 track becomes more mature, it can still remain in the “default first look” category.
As long as the “default” perception remains, its core base won’t weaken.
Once the “default” perception loosens, it will retreat from core Layer 2 to become “important, but not necessarily prioritized.” ⚠️
This step doesn’t look very big on the surface.
But the damage to valuation is very obvious.
Because what the market is most willing to pay for is always the “first look” object.
So for ARB, the key going forward isn’t to talk about bigger directions anymore.
Instead, it should continuously make the market see that today it still has the thickest landing support, and it’s still the most convenient layer within Ethereum overflow demand.
The thicker the landing support, the steadier the main position.
The steadier the main position, the easier it is for the price to move in a high-quality direction. 📈
If the landing support starts to thin out, even if the track remains hot, it will gradually lose that most valuable halo. 📉
The above is only my personal observation of the order book.
It does not constitute any investment advice.
It does not provide guidance on buying or selling points.
