Alex Thorn Says Bitcoin Quantum Risk Is Lower Than Feared
Alex Thorn said the Bitcoin community is moving toward an initial consensus on the threat from quantum computing. Thorn said the main view is that Satoshi Nakamoto’s P2PK address assets should not be touched, and he added that the risk is lower than expected because the holdings are spread across about 22,000 addresses with 50 BTC each.
