Lately, I’ve been struggling a bit with the task platform. Grinding for rewards now really feels more like going to work: clocking in, taking screenshots, filling out forms, joining groups, and even getting rated. Sometimes they just call you a “suspected witch” and deduct points, and I’m just exhausted. Honestly, it used to be about finding opportunities, but now it feels like feeding data into the system, and I have to manage my emotions at all times. Otherwise, I might impulsively go all-in on a task, only to realize that Gas fees and time are the biggest costs. Thinking about it later, it’s pretty funny.
By the way, the NFT royalty mudslinging war also seems pretty similar: creators want income, secondary markets need liquidity, and in the end, it’s the ordinary people caught in the middle. Buying and selling all have to consider “whether the rules will change again tomorrow.” I’ve decided to be more honest now—small-scale testing and hedging when possible. I’d rather take less than work overtime grinding for rewards again.
