Golden Finance reports that on May 3, U.S. President Donald Trump said in the evening of May 2, Eastern Time, during an interview at an airport in Florida, that there is a possibility the United States could restart airstrikes on Iran. Trump posted on social media, saying he will soon review Iran’s latest submitted proposal, but that he “cannot imagine” that the proposal “could be acceptable,” and he threatened that Iran “has not yet paid a big enough price.” Earlier that day, before boarding “Air Force One,” Trump said he would provide an explanation later regarding Iran’s latest submitted proposal. Previously, reports had indicated that Iran had submitted a proposal containing 14 items through Pakistan in response to the nine proposals the United States had previously put forward. (Jin10)
