Recently, everyone has been talking about AI Agents automating on-chain operations, claiming they can save you effort and Gas fees. I only believe half of it. When it comes to signing steps and authorization limits, you still need a human to oversee it; otherwise, it might give you a “for efficiency, approve infinitely” scenario, and my penny-pinching soul would immediately call the police. Also, when it comes to choosing the most cost-effective cross-chain route, setting slippage, or splitting orders, Agents can calculate, but when faced with congestion or MEV fluctuations—those mysterious waves—ultimately, the blame falls on the person holding the wallet.

Recently, the staking unlock and token unlock calendars have been repeatedly discussed as selling pressure. I also have the Agent monitor and remind me, but if I really shouldn’t move my positions… I still have to hold my hand and do it myself. Thinking about it later, it’s quite funny—obviously wanting to be worry-free, but actually more afraid of it being too “obedient.” Anyway, when Gas is high, I just treat it as weight loss—fewer confirmations, and that’s it for now.
