Recently, a bunch of new chains and new Layer 2 solutions have started offering incentives again, and everyone in the group is just chasing points, badges, and “identity” stuff… I find it a bit exhausting to watch. Honestly, a lot of it is just trading time for uncertain airdrops, with all kinds of authorizations and cross-chain moves. Veteran users complain that “mining, selling, and dumping” isn’t without reason; after the excitement, it’s just a mess.

My current principle is pretty simple: first ask myself, “Would I still use this if I didn’t get any points?” If not, then forget it; if I do want to try, I only use a small account with a small amount, choose specific authorization limits instead of unlimited, and avoid signing if I can. If I can’t earn badges, then so be it. Anyway, I just look at the task list less before bed, and my mood is much better.
