Recently, the airdrop season has heated up again, with task platforms shouting anti-witch hunts while implementing point systems, making earning tokens feel like clocking in at work... I find it a bit exhausting to watch. The attention economy is really ruthless; when hot topics change, emotions are pulled along, and hands start clicking randomly. In the end, you're either being cut or forced to "hold long-term."

Now I prefer to treat it as practice: practicing not chasing hot topics, practicing seeing clearly whether I want to profit from information gaps or just fear missing out. To put it simply, first ask yourself, "Why do I want to participate, and can I accept the worst-case scenario?" If you can answer that, then proceed. The rest is up to time—reduce scrolling through KOLs, avoid being led by the rhythm in groups, and if you miss out, so be it. At least I won't turn myself into a tool.
