TRM Labs said North Korean actors stole about $577 million through the first four months of 2026, equal to 76% of global crypto hack losses in that period. TRM attributed most of the losses to the $292 million KelpDAO exploit and the $285 million Drift Protocol attack in April. TRM said cumulative North Korea-linked crypto theft now exceeds $6 billion since 2017.
