These days, the community has been arguing again about privacy coins and coin mixing, whether they count as "original sin" or not, which has worn me out a bit. Frankly, no matter which side you're on, that "unlimited authorization" in your wallet is the real ticking time bomb: you might think you only connected once to a DEX, but the permissions stay there for years without moving. One day if the contract or frontend has an issue, your assets are as vulnerable as sleeping with the door open.

I'm now mostly low-frequency, preferring to tinker less, but every time I interact, I make it a point to revoke any unused permissions—like brushing my teeth, it's a compulsive habit. Gas fees can sometimes be painful, but compared to getting drained in the middle of the night, this little cost is worth it... Anyway, I'm a bit cautious, so I’ll stick with this for now.
