Just checked the rankings of the most valuable assets in the world and some numbers really caught my eye. Gold still sitting at the top with over $27 trillion, which honestly makes sense when you think about how long it's been the ultimate store of value. But what's wild is how the tech giants have absolutely dominated the landscape.
NVIDIA's pushing $4.6 trillion now thanks to the AI boom, followed by Microsoft and Apple in the $3.8-3.9 trillion range. These companies are basically printing money. Alphabet's holding steady around $3 trillion with their advertising and cloud business. Silver's interesting too at $2.75 trillion, often overlooked but critical for tech and solar manufacturing.
But here's what I find most fascinating about the most valuable assets in the world right now - Bitcoin at around $1.57 trillion. I mean, a few years ago people were calling it a joke, and now it's competing with these massive corporations and precious metals. It's genuinely wild to see digital assets breaking into this conversation. Amazon and Meta are still in the mix too, but Bitcoin's trajectory is what really shows how the landscape is shifting.
The semiconductor play is real too with Broadcom rounding out the top 10. When you look at all the most valuable assets in the world, you're basically seeing a mix of old money (gold), industrial power (silver), and the new tech revolution. Pretty interesting snapshot of where global wealth is concentrated right now.
