Prosecutors Seek 20-Year Term for Delio CEO in $169M Crypto Case
South Korean prosecutors requested a 20-year prison term for Delio CEO Jeong Sang-ho over alleged embezzlement of about 250 billion won ($168.8 million) in crypto assets. Prosecutors said about 2,800 victims were affected from August 2021 to June 2023, and the first-instance ruling is scheduled for July 16.
