Recently, I’ve been obsessively farming testnet points… It was originally just for practice, but secretly I started to think “I should be able to get something” as a certainty. Once this expectation grows, people automatically increase their bets and are reluctant to stop. To be honest, my itch isn’t greed, but fear of missing out: everyone is competing, and if I don’t compete, it’s like being swept away by the flow of the crowd.

My stop-loss is pretty simple: once it starts affecting my mood (for example, paying more attention to tasks than to serious work), or I start leveraging and messing around to get more chances (changing accounts, cross-chain, random authorizations), I just stop, even if it means earning less. Practice can be repeated, but expectations are a one-time illusion.

By the way, the NFT royalty disputes are also quite similar: everyone wants “certain income,” but when liquidity tightens, emotions become extreme. Anyway, I have one principle now: don’t follow the trend until the last second, especially when others start shouting “last window.” That’s all for now.
