Atomera Expands Synopsys Partnership to Advance GaN Device Modeling

Atomera Inc. has expanded its partnership with Synopsys Inc. to advance gallium nitride (GaN) device modeling for radio frequency (RF) and power semiconductor applications. This collaboration will leverage Synopsys’ Sentaurus TCAD tools to develop calibrated modeling methodologies and simulation decks for GaN devices, aiming to accelerate innovation in power-efficient semiconductor solutions. The initiative builds on their previous work integrating Atomera’s MSTcad technology and seeks to enhance understanding of advanced materials for improved device efficiency and faster development cycles.
