President Trump of the United States said at the South Lawn of the White House in response to a question from Phoenix reporters that his upcoming visit to China this month will be very exciting. Although the Iran war continues, Trump's visit to China has not yet been affected.

U.S. President Trump "The visit to China will be very great. We are about to start our visit to China, and I think it will be a very amazing visit."
The White House previously announced that Trump's original schedule to visit China from March 31 to April 2 was postponed to May 14-15 due to the Iran war. As the war enters its eighth week, with negotiations between the U.S. and Iran deadlocked, the Trump administration plans to extend the maritime blockade against Iran. Nevertheless, Trump's visit to China seems to remain unaffected.
On April 30, Politburo member and Foreign Minister W Yi of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China had a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Blinken. On the same day, H Lifeng, the Chinese lead for China-U.S. economic and trade negotiations and Vice Premier of the State Council, held a video call with U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Becerra and Trade Representative Grier.
