Nigeria becomes Africa's largest Solana developer hub
According to the SuperteamNG Impact Report, Nigeria ranked sixth globally in the first quarter of 2026 in terms of Solana developer share and became Africa’s largest Solana developer hub. The report states that Nigerian developers account for approximately 67% of active Solana developers in Africa, and during the same period, they brought in over $162k in direct funding for the local economy through ecosystem bounties, Solana Foundation grants, and other means.
