Here's an interesting theory: if Satoshi Nakamoto's identity were revealed, Bitcoin would plummet to zero. I heard this opinion from some investor, and I have to admit, there is some logic to it. The entire legend of BTC is built on the mystique surrounding the unknown creator. If it suddenly turns out who is behind it, anyone could be — a person, a group, maybe even an organization. And that would cause wild distrust regardless of who it turns out to be. It’s as if people believe in the idea, in the mystique, rather than in a specific person. What do you think, is this true? Or has the BTC price become so deeply rooted in the ecosystem that the creator’s identity no longer matters?
