Meta Q1 Profit Jumps 61% as 2026 Capex Forecast Rises to $145B

Meta reported Q1 2026 net income of $26.77 billion, up 61% year over year, as revenue rose 33% to $56.31 billion. Meta then raised its full-year 2026 capex forecast to $125 billion–$145 billion from $115 billion–$135 billion, citing higher component pricing and additional data center costs. Meta shares fell more than 7% in after-hours trading on April 29 despite the earnings beat.
