To put it simply: don't worry about speed or cost first, just confirm "can see, can verify, won't regret."

These days, that mainstream chain is about to upgrade/maintain, and the community is speculating whether ecosystem projects will migrate. I'm actually more concerned about whether the client versions and penalty parameters change before and after the upgrade—nodes shouldn't fall behind.
