Recently, I've been a bit obsessed with DAO voting proposals, many of which seem to be "giving the community candy/subsidies," but upon closer inspection, the terms are actually about who can propose, who can join the committee, who can move the treasury. In other words, it's subtly twisting the power structure. The sweeter the incentives are written, the more cautious I become, especially those with "emergency votes" or very short "discussion periods," which really seem designed to make you press confirm before you have time to react. By the way, I want to complain that now everyone, when they see large on-chain transfers or hot and cold wallets moving on exchanges, starts interpreting it as "smart money coming," but a single line of authorization in a proposal or a change in multi-signature thresholds could have an even bigger impact… (Am I being a bit too serious?) Anyway, before I vote, I always check permissions, execution paths, and who can change parameters. If I don't look into these, I’d rather abstain.
