Lately, I really want to press a “slow” button for myself... Once the airdrop season kicks in, all kinds of task platforms are rolling out anti-bot / anti–Sybil measures plus point-based systems. The reward hunters are grinding so hard they look like they’re clocking in for work—I’m already worn out just watching. Put simply, ordinary people have to compromise between the mainnet and L2. My solution is: for everyday interactions, if I can do it on L2, I’ll start there and play slowly on L2—save a bit on gas and save a bit of peace of mind. And if I’m dealing with large amounts or important operations (like changing permissions or shifting core positions), that’s when I go back to the mainnet. Sure, it costs more, but it feels steady. I also have a small habit: check on-chain liquidity before placing an order—otherwise, once you get swept up by impulse, slippage and fees will team up to teach you a lesson... In any case, being half a step slower isn’t embarrassing; paying fewer “tuition fees” is more practical.
