Mars Finance news: UK Reform Party leader Farage has been accused by the opposition party of having a conflict of interest. In 2024, he received a personal grant of 5 million pounds from crypto investor Christopher Harborne; afterward, in 2025, the Reform Party put forward a draft bill to regulate the crypto industry, proposing to cut the crypto trading stamp duty from 24% to 10%, and to establish a national Bitcoin reserve and reduce capital gains tax on crypto assets. Farage has admitted to receiving the above grant, and the Reform Party said that policy-making is not related to the donors. In addition, Harborne donated another 12 million pounds to the party last year, and crypto businessman Ben Delo also donated 4 million pounds this year. At present, Farage faces allegations of violating House of Commons rules, and in serious cases he could be suspended as an MP and a by-election could be triggered.
