Wu Shuo learned that a16z crypto published an article stating that the term "stablecoin" may gradually become outdated.
The article argues that stablecoins were originally used to address payment, savings, and lending issues caused by high volatility in crypto assets, but now stability has become a fundamental prerequisite, and stablecoins are evolving into a global financial infrastructure that can be used for cross-border instant transfers, real-time settlement, direct holdings, and embedded applications.
