Trump compares the U.S. blocking Iranian ports to piracy: it’s a “very profitable business”

Golden Finance reports that on May 2nd, U.S. President Trump stated on Friday that during the war between the United States and Israel against Iran, the maritime blockade implemented by the U.S. Navy at Iranian ports was to some extent “like pirates.” Trump made these remarks while describing the seizure of a ship by the U.S. military a few days earlier. “We took over the ship, took over the cargo, took over the oil. It’s a very profitable business,” Trump said in a speech on Friday evening. “We are like pirates. A bit like pirates, but we’re not playing games.”
