The Federal Security Service of Russia foiled a terrorist attack plot

On April 24th local time, the Federal Security Service of Russia announced that on the 18th of this month, they thwarted a terrorist attack plot targeting senior officials of the Federal Communications Supervision Service of Russia. The Federal Security Service stated that seven people were involved in planning this crime, all recruited online by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. The leader of the group is a Moscow resident born in 2004. During the arrest, this individual resisted with weapons and was shot and killed by law enforcement officers. The Federal Security Service said that during the search, law enforcement seized a homemade explosive device weighing 1 kilogram, an F-1 hand grenade, a pistol, a walkie-talkie, symbols of Ukrainian paramilitary organizations, and other items from the terrorists. Currently, relevant departments have filed criminal charges. Ukraine has not responded to this matter. (CCTV News)
