The U.S. Department of Defense reaches agreements with seven AI companies
The U.S. Department of Defense announced today (May 1st) that it has reached agreements with seven leading artificial intelligence companies, namely SpaceX, OpenAI, Google, NVIDIA, Reflection, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The statement said, “These agreements accelerate the transformation of the U.S. military, aiming to make the U.S. military an ‘AI-driven’ combat force, and will enhance the U.S. military’s ability to maintain decision-making advantages across all warfare domains.” (CCTV International News)
