Trump says the United States will not leave the Strait of Hormuz at present

Golden Financial reports that on May 2nd, U.S. President Trump stated that the United States currently “will not leave” the Strait of Hormuz, defending America’s blockade actions and calling them “very strong.” Trump said that the blockade measures are working and claimed that once the war ends, energy prices will drop significantly. “After this war ends, the prices of oil, natural gas, and everything else will plummet,” he said. He also praised the U.S. stock market reaching record highs and stated that projects during his administration are being completed “on time” and “within budget.” (Jin10)
