Textron Inc. announced its intention to separate its Industrial segment from its core aerospace and defense businesses. This strategic move aims to sharpen focus, drive long-term value for stakeholders, and allow both entities to pursue independent growth strategies. The separation is expected to create a pure-play aerospace and defense company with over $12 billion in projected 2026 revenues and an Industrial segment with Kautex and Textron Specialized Vehicles, projected to have over $3 billion in 2026 revenues.
