Trump: Personally inclined not to restart the bombing campaign against Iran
Golden Finance reports that on May 2nd, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that there are ultimately only two options regarding Iran: either conduct a large-scale military escalation or reach an agreement. “There are indeed options. Do we want to go straight in and completely blow them up, solving the problem once and for all? Or do we want to try to reach an agreement? Those are the options in front of us,” Trump said. He also confirmed that he had just received the latest briefing from the U.S. Central Command on military options last night. Trump stated that he personally leans toward not restarting bombing operations. “From a humanitarian perspective, I prefer not to do that,” he said at the White House. (CNN)
