Has anyone already tried earning money through play-to-earn games? I’ve been experimenting with several projects over the past few months and want to share what I’ve found.
Axie Infinity is still top, even though the token price has dropped. Breeding creatures, fighting, selling — it works. Currently, AXS is trading around $1.38, and SLP has fallen quite a bit. But if you play regularly, you still get some income.
The Sandbox is more interesting from a metaverse perspective. SAND is now $0.07, but you can really create content and earn money there. Many big companies have already joined, so there’s potential.
Illuvium is a really beautiful game, with graphics on another level. ILV costs $4.77 — not cheap, but if you’re a collector of NFT creatures, it’s interesting. Open world, combat system — it’s not just a clicker.
Gods Unchained is a free card game where the cards are truly yours. That’s cool because you don’t need to invest large amounts of money right away.
Star Atlas is about space and strategy; ATLAS is currently cheap ($0.00), but the project is still in development. It could be interesting when the full version is released.
Main takeaway: play-to-earn games are not a quick way to get rich. They’re more like a hobby that can generate income. There are always risks, prices are volatile. But if you’re a gamer and already spend time playing, why not try earning from it? The main thing — don’t invest more than you’re willing to lose.
