I just came across the ranking of the richest actors of all time, and honestly, some of the numbers surprised me. Jami Gertz at the top with 3 billion? Turns out, her wealth isn't just Hollywood cachet, but also investments. And Brock Pierce with 2 billion – that guy really made money in cryptocurrencies.
What struck me was how many stars have around 250-400 million. Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Morgan Freeman – all in a similar range. It seems that for the biggest names in Hollywood, that's standard.
The richest actors of all time mainly earned from movies, but also from business ventures outside the screen. Jerry Seinfeld nearly a billion, Dwayne Johnson 800 million. I'm curious how much of that comes from acting roles and how much from other projects. Doesn't that make you wonder?
