Trump: Will raise tariffs on European Union cars and trucks to 25%

BlockBeats News, May 1st, Trump posted: “Given that the European Union has failed to comply with the trade agreement we have fully reached, I will raise tariffs on European Union cars and trucks imported into the United States next week. The tariffs will be increased to 25%. All parties fully understand and agree that if the EU produces cars and trucks in U.S. factories, no tariffs will be payable. Currently, many car and truck factories are under construction, with investments exceeding $100 billion, setting a record in the history of the automotive and truck manufacturing industry. These factories will employ American workers and will be operational soon.”
