Indonesian stainless steel market prices increase by $30 per ton

According to SMM, the latest increase in Indonesia’s stainless steel prices is $30 per ton, which is consistent with the previously understood market range of a $20 to $40 per ton increase. The core logic behind this round of price hikes is cost transmission, as nickel ore prices continue to rise, driving up the production costs of key raw materials for stainless steel, NPI, once again, leading to an upward movement in the stainless steel market prices.
