Golden Finance reports that in April, the crypto market venture capital financing significantly cooled down, with total funding dropping to $659 million, a 74% decrease from $2.6 billion in March, marking the lowest monthly level since July 2024.
In April, a total of 63 funding rounds were completed, including 12 rounds in the DeFi sector, 8 rounds each for blockchain services and AI-related crypto projects, and the market maker GSR’s venture capital division participated in 4 investments.
Institutions such as Y Combinator, Tether, and Coinbase Ventures maintained a certain level of investment activity.
