I just looked at the statistics and realized that the population of Pakistan is growing incredibly fast. There are now over 254 million residents, and this number is constantly increasing. According to forecasts, by the end of 2026, it will be 256 million. To compare, it is the fifth-largest country in the world by population. On a global level, the population of Pakistan makes up about 3.1% of all people on the planet. An interesting point is that the population is very young, with an average age of only 20.6 years. Plus, the annual population growth rate is maintained at 1.57%, which is quite significant. Such growth rates pose serious challenges for the country's infrastructure and economy. That’s the demographic situation.
