White Technology obtains Croatia's first MICA approval
Crypto news, White Technology has received authorization from the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA), becoming one of the first crypto asset service providers approved under MICA. The company is part of the W Group ecosystem, primarily controlled by WhiteBit founder and CEO Volodymyr Nosov. This approval enables White Technology to operate under the EU’s unified regulatory framework, including services such as crypto trading, fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat conversions, and crypto asset transfers. White Technology must adhere to EU standards in governance, risk management, and customer protection. Croatia has begun licensing crypto companies under MICA, with Electrocoin receiving HANFA approval in April, becoming the country’s first registered crypto company. MICA establishes common rules for crypto companies across EU member states, covering transparency, authorization, regulation, and user protection.
