Just checked the numbers and Satoshi Nakamoto's net worth took quite a hit recently. His portfolio dropped roughly $20 billion over the past 10 days as Bitcoin pulled back from its October peak. Pretty wild to see someone's wealth swing that much in such a short time frame.
What's interesting is that even after the correction, Satoshi's still sitting around 15th on the global wealth rankings with his unmoved holdings from 2009. That's still ahead of Alice Walton and Michael Bloomberg, which is insane when you think about it. The guy's been holding roughly 1.1 million BTC this whole time without moving a single coin.
It's a good reminder of how volatile digital assets can be at macro scale. One moment you're top 10 richest in the world, the next you've dropped down a few spots. That's the kind of repricing power only crypto has. Makes you realize how much Satoshi Nakamoto's net worth is tied to Bitcoin's overall market movements.
