🤖 AI is reshaping the American workplace, but opportunities are not evenly distributed

The latest Federal Reserve survey shows that over the past year:
💰 The higher the income, the earlier they used AI
Annual income >$200k: 66.3% have used AI tools
$100k–$200k: 51.6%
$50k–$100k: 40.2%
< $50k: only 15.9%
🎓 Education is a dividing line
The proportion of college graduates using AI (58.7%) is more than twice that of those without a college education (22.9%). Full-time employees (42.7%) also use AI more often than part-time employees (24.7%).
✅ Those who have used it say it’s good
Among AI users, 68.0% feel their work is easier, and 56.7% believe their efficiency has significantly improved.
⚠️ The gap is widening
Low-wage, low-education groups not only have lower usage rates but are also more vulnerable to job restructuring. The technological gap is turning into an income gap.
AI doesn’t wait for anyone. Learning to use it may be the most important workplace investment in the coming years.
