Crypto World News: Crypto mining company Riot Platforms has announced that its revenue for the first quarter of 2026 was $167 million. Revenue from its data center business was $33.2 million, marking the first time it contributed revenue. This quarter, it mined 1,473 BTC, with the per-coin mining cost at approximately $44.6k. At the same time, AMD exercised an additional 25MW expansion option, increasing the contracted hash rate capacity to 50MW. The company said it is transitioning from mining to data center operations and will maintain approximately 15,679 BTC in reserve.
